At the same time, we see that the EU Green Deal is lagging behind what is necessary to come onto the 1,5\u00b0C path.<\/p>\n<p><b>The German Climate Law should now be improved. With our guests, we want to discuss how the new proposal of the federal government is aligned with what is necessary and what happens next with the Green Deal including the Fit for 55 package.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The 400 billion budget for agriculture remained more or less the same, with only minor changes being made. The EU taxonomy \u2013 the EU&#8217;s rules for green financial products \u2013 should be aligned with 100% renewables instead of leaving loopholes for financing gas and nuclear projects. And the EU now has a Climate Law with emission reduction goals that are insufficient for 1,5\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p><b>A year and half after the announcement of the Green Deal and a few days after the historic ruling in Germany, we want to draw a first conclusion. How does the industry view the developments? What does Fridays for Future think about the status quo?
