Dear friends, dear all,
The results of the exploratory talks between Social democrats (SPD), Bündnis90/Die Grünen and Liberals (FDP) to form the next German Federal Government have just been presented last Friday with a 12-page paper. Over the last two weeks, I have been working on this as a member of the negotiation group. Just three weeks after the federal elections, the three parties are recommending to their members to green-light the start of formal coalition negotiations, which could begin as early as this Thursday.

But, what exactly is in the exploratory paper and what discussions are behind it? What does this paper mean for the coalition negotiations? What would this coalition mean for Europe and the world?
On Monday evening, I would like to present the paper to you and put it up for discussion. After weeks of confidential talks, now is the time for public debate.

When? – Monday, 18/10/2021, 19:00 hrs CEST.

Please, come yourself and invite others who are interested.
With European Green greetings,

Sven Giegold
