We send a strong signal to the Commission and Member States for clean air and better enforcement of EU laws! A progressive majority of Social Democrats, Liberals, Greens and the Left prevailed over the conservatives. We call for stricter limits for fine particles, nitrogen dioxide, microplastics, and other pollutants. National governments shall finally be held accountable for poor air quality. A great result for clean air in Europe that was only possible due to the support by civil society and citizens across Europe. Thank you all very much for your help.
