Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde von WeAreInThisTogether.eu!
An diesem Donnerstag treffen sich die Staats- und Regierungschefs Europas in einer Videokonferenz. Gleichzeitig geht das Corona-Sterben weiter und die wirtschaftliche Unsicherheit grassiert überall in Europa. Gerade Italien und anderen Staaten Südeuropas sind durch die Coronakrise menschlich und wirtschaftlich betroffen. In dieser Situation wirkt das Schachern um die notwendigen Solidaritätsmaßnahmen als hartherzig.
Daher ist es nun an der Zeit in Berlin und im Internet ein Zeichen zu setzen: Wir haben ein kleines Bündnis proeuropäischer Initiativen zusammengebracht (Link zum Aufruf). Dieses Bündnis ruft nun in Absprache mit der italienischen Botschaft für diesen Mittwoch zu einer politischen Aktion europäischer Solidarität und des Zusammenhalts Europas auf.
Auf dem Gelände der italienischen Botschaft liegt an diesem Mittwoch ab 9 Uhr bis diesen Donnerstag 9 Uhr ein Banner mit der Aufschrift “#WeAreInThisTogether. Wir schaffen es nur zusammen! Ce la faremo solo insieme!”.

Jetzt kommt es auf Euch an! Bitte nehmt Euch Zeit und tut folgendes:
- Tretet dort EINZELN ab 9 Uhr ein.
- Legt persönliche Symbole der Solidarität ab.
- Bringt einen eigenen(!) dicken Marker-Stift und unterschreibt
- Dokumentiert und verbreitet die Selfies und Bilder der Aktion im Internet und an Bekannte – jeweils mit dem Link zu www.weareinthistogether.eu und dem hashtag #weareinthistogether
Dabei ist entscheidend: Haltet Euch an den Mindestabstand von 1,5 Metern. Kommt ausschließlich mit Masken! Vermeidet alles, was Euch und andere in Gefahr bringt.
Unsere Bilder werden sich im Internet verbreiten. So setzen wir auch in Italien ein Zeichen eines solidarischen, europäischen Deutschlands, dessen Ruf durch die Blockadehaltung der Bundesregierung beschädigt wurde. Lasst uns so gemeinsam ein Signal senden: Wir lassen uns Europa nicht kaputtmachen! Weder von denen, die sich wirksamer Solidarität durch gemeinsame Anleihen und einen großen europäischen Wiederaufbaufonds verweigern. Aber auch nicht von denen, die populistisch auf nationaler Souveränität pochen und antieuropäische Ressentiments schüren. Hier in Deutschland verlangen wir von der deutschen Bundesregierung sich beim Gipfel der Staats- und Regierungschefs solidarisch statt kaltherzig zu zeigen.

Questo giovedì i capi di Stato e di governo europei si incontreranno in videoconferenza. Allo stesso tempo, il coronavirus continua a mietere vittime e l’incertezza economica preoccupa tutta l’Europa. Particolarmente colpiti dalla crisi dovuta al coronavirus sono l’Italia e gli altri Paesi del Sud d’Europa, sia in termini di vite umane, sia in termini economici. In questa situazione, la difficile negoziazione delle necessarie misure di solidarietà appare ingenerosa.
È quindi giunto il momento di dare l’esempio, a Berlino e su Internet: Abbiamo riunito una piccola alleanza di iniziative pro-europee (Link all’appello). Quest’alleanza, in accordo con l’Ambasciata d’Italia, lancia ora un’azione politica di solidarietà e coesione europea per questo mercoledì.
Dalle ore di mercoledì 22 aprile alle ore 9 di giovedì 23 aprile sarà esposto uno striscione con la scritta “#WeAreInThisTogether. Wir schaffen es nur zusammen! Ce la faremo soli insieme! nei locali dell’Ambasciata d’Italia a Berlino, Hiroshimastraße 1, 10785 Berlino
Ora tocca a voi! Ecco che cosa potete fare:
- Entrate all’ambasciata singolarmente.
- Deponete i vostri simboli personali di solidarietà.
- Portatevi il vostro (!) pennarello e firmate
- Fate delle foto di voi stessi e dell’azione e diffondetele su internet e agli amici – postando il link a https://weareinthistogether.eu/it/petition/solidarieta-europea-adesso/ e l’hashtag #weareinthistogether.
E’ molto importante mantenere una distanza minima di 1,5 metri. Venite solo portando una maschera! Evitate tutto ciò che possa mettere in pericolo voi e gli altri.
Le nostre foto si diffonderanno su Internet. Vogliamo mostrare all’Italia che esiste una Germania solidale, europea, la cui reputazione è stata danneggiata dalla posizione rigida del governo tedesco. Mandiamo un segnale insieme: Non permetteremo che l’Europa venga distrutta! Né da coloro che si rifiutano di dimostrare solidarietà effettiva attraverso bond comuni e un grande fondo europeo per la ricostruzione, né da dai sovranisti e populisti che provocano risentimenti antieuropei. Qui in Germania chiediamo al governo federale tedesco di dare una prova di solidarietà e non di freddezza al vertice dei capi di Stato e di governo.

This Thursday the European heads of state and government will meet in a video conference. At the same time, the Corona death toll continues to rise and economic uncertainty is rampant throughout Europe. Especially Italy and other countries of Southern Europe are affected by the Corona Crisis in human and economic terms. In this situation, haggling over the necessary solidarity measures appears to be hard-hearted.
Therefore it is now time to set an example in Berlin and online: We have brought together a small alliance of pro-European initiatives (link to the appeal). This alliance, in consultation with the Italian embassy, is now calling for a political action of European solidarity and togetherness for this Wednesday.

But also not by those who populistically insist on national sovereignty and stir up anti-European resentment. Here in Germany, we are asking the German Government to show solidarity rather than cold-heartedness at the summit of heads of state and government.
