Starkes Zeichen der Europäischen Solidarität aus Berlin und Köln!
Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde von WeAreInThisTogether.eu!
Seit Mittwochmorgen sind hunderte Europäerinnen und Europäer zur italienischen Botschaft in Berlin und dem italienischen Konsulat in Köln gekommen. Sie haben auf unsere Initiative hin ein klares Zeichen gesetzt: Wir lassen niemanden allein und wir wissen: nur gemeinsam schaffen wir das!
Mit dem notwendigen Corona-Abstand hinterlassen sie eine Nachricht der Freundschaft und des Willens, jetzt solidarisch zusammen zu handeln. Schon am Nachmittag waren die übergroßen Banner voller Nachrichten. Auch viele Persönlichkeiten aus Gesellschaft und Politik haben in Berlin und Köln unterzeichnet.
Es war so deutlich zu spüren, wie die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer dankbar sind für die Möglichkeit, ihrer Solidarität Ausdruck zu verleihen und zeigen einmal mehr: Wir sind weiter als die Bundesregierung!
Wenn heute die Staats- und Regierungschefs über europäische Maßnahmen diskutieren, wird besonders auch die deutsche Bundesregierung diese starken Bilder vor Augen haben. Es braucht jetzt wirksame europäische Solidarität durch gemeinsame Anleihen und einen großen europäischen Wiederaufbaufonds. Die deutsche Bundesregierung muss sich solidarisch statt kaltherzig zeigen.
Unser großer Dank geht das breite Bündnis von pro-europäischen Organisation und an Sie und Euch, ohne die diese Aktion nicht hätte gelingen können.

Un forte segno di solidarietà europea da Berlino e Colonia!
Care amiche e cari amici di WeAreInThisTogether.eu/!
Da mercoledì mattina centinaia di europei sono venuti all’Ambasciata d’Italia a Berlino e al Consolato italiano a Colonia. Su nostra iniziativa hanno inviato un chiaro segnale: Non lasceremo nessuno da solo e sappiamo che ce la faremo solo insieme!
Rispettando la necessaria distanza tutte queste persone hanno lasciato un messaggio di amicizia e espresso la loro volontà di agire insieme, in modo solidale. Già nel pomeriggio i grandi striscioni erano pieni di messaggi. Anche molte personalità importanti della società e della politica hanno firmato, sia a Berlino sia a Colonia.
Tutti erano molto grati di avere l’opportunità di esprimere la loro solidarietà e di dimostrare ancora una volta: Siamo già molto più avanti del Governo Federale!
Quando i capi di Stato e di governo discuteranno oggi le misure europee, il governo federale tedesco in particolare avrà in mente queste immagini forti. Ciò che serve ora, è un’effettiva solidarietà europea attraverso legami comuni e un grande fondo europeo per la ricostruzione. Il governo tedesco deve dare prova di solidarietà invece che di freddezza.
Il nostro grande ringraziamento va all’ampia alleanza dell’organizzazione pro-europee e a voi, senza i quali questa azione non avrebbe potuto avere successo.

Dear friends of WeAreInThisTogether.eu!
Since Wednesday morning hundreds of Europeans have come to the Italian Embassy in Berlin and the Italian Consulate in Cologne. On our initiative they have sent a clear signal: We won’t leave anyone alone and we know that we can only do it together!
With the necessary Corona distance, they left a message of friendship and urged for common acts of solidarity. Already in the afternoon the oversized banners were full of messages. Many personalities from civil society and politics also signed in Berlin and Cologne.
It was very obvious how grateful the participants are for the opportunity to express their solidarity and show once again: We are further than the German Federal Government!
When the Heads of State and Government discuss European measures today, the German Federal Government in particular will have these strong images in mind. What is needed now is effective European solidarity through joint bonds and a large European reconstruction fund. The German Government must show solidarity instead of cold-heartedness.
Our great thanks go to the broad alliance of pro-European organisations and to you all, without whom this action could not have been successful.
