Special committe of the European Parliament on tax dumping will come to Ireland

The special committee of the European Parliament against tax dumping has already held several hearings and has undertaken first delegation visits. The aim of the delegation visits are selected countries that are known for enabling tax dumping.

After visits to Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland a delegation will travel to Ireland on 28 May 2015. There, we will meet the Irish finance minister, members of the Irish parliament and representatives of several stakeholders. Please, find the detailed agenda below or visit https://sven-giegold.de/2015/taxe-documents/

We would be pleased if you follow the TAXE delegation visit to Ireland. Furthermore, we want to encourage you to give us information on the harmful mechanisms and practices that make Ireland a tax haven. If you have any questions we should ask the respective government, don’t hesitate to let us know. I am looking forward to receiving your suggestions.

With Green european greetings

Sven Giegold

Green coordinator in the TAXE special committee
