Dear journalists,
Today, just around 3 am, the European Commission has finally sent its answers in the Selmayr case. The Commission proves again its subtle humor by sending the document just when Europe executes its clock change to summer time. ;-)
We will now carefully analyse the 80 page document with a view of the hearing with Commissioner Oettinger on Tuesday at 2.30 pm. The invitation of President Juncker to the budgetary control committee failed because of objections of EPP, S&D and ALDE.
